Losing my mind...

Is it just me or is this winter weather driving everyone else nuts too?
Don't get me wrong, I like my snow just fine, but ice = SUCKFEST! lol.
Seriously though, hope everyone else is holding up okay with this once a week snow/ice thing.

It's been awhile since I posted.
Wowza!

wow

I like never update this anymore. Lol.
There is entirely too much to write to really catch up on everything.
In short, the past few weeks have brought some of the hardest things I've had to deal with.
Family issues, relationship stuff [not bad stuff with my relationship, but other factors], changing adhd meds right before finals, and losing someone close to me.
I'm just thankful for my wonderful friends and family who have stood by me through all of it. <3
Still recovering from a lot of it and I'll never forget, but I'll heal. Only with time, though.
Anywho, not much time right now & don't really wanna go into too much detail about all the other stuff, so I'm gonna go, but first..something else..

Rest In Peace, Mike. November 30, 2007.
It's been a week now since you've been gone and you are missed more than you could've ever known.
I am thankful to have known you. You were so strong and anyone you ever came in contact with could have benefited from knowing you.
Your strength, courage, and grace is something I will always remember and admire. You faced some of the most horrific things head on and you never gave up.
You never let the struggles of your life stop you from doing what you enjoy and being there for your friends and family.
I am convinced there was a plan. A plan for how it all worked out. I am thankful you were able to see your son graduate from the Marines. I am thankful you were able to spend ten days with your son after his graduation. I am thankful you spent time with old friends and spent time with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. I am thankful that before the incident that took you away from us, you made it to the safety of your own home and that it did not take place on the road. I am thankful that your last night was with someone you cared about and that you enjoyed your time.
I miss you greatly and I wish I had gotten to know you a lot sooner than I had, but I would not trade the length of time that I did know you for anything in the world.
I'm glad my last memory of you is a great one. :) I will always look back on it and smile as I remember you.
Thank you for making my mother so happy.
You are loved and missed so much.
I'll never forget you.
Rest In Peace.

It's about that time...

Well I don't use this much anymore. Seems like once in awhile for whatever reason, I think of this thing and feel the need to update. I've def. got more involved in facebook & myspace over xanga. Seems like everyone else has too, so oh well. :P
Hm...so whats been goin on...Well, went to fright fest with some friends a couple weeks ago. Halloween was good :]. Fox won a lot of their games this season, so that's good! Umm...other than that stuff it's been the usual. School, work, hang out with friends while trying to figure out why on earth certain things happen in life. Oh well...can't really put too many of my thoughts on here at the moment, so I guess thats all I gotta say.
Yep...I think that is all. So uh, til next time...

"oh, he plays for the other team"-coker lmao

So it has been awhile since I have written in this thing. I guess I just got caught up with the whole facebook and myspace thing that I completely forgot about xanga. O_O lol And it could be that I've been extremely busy these past couple of weeks compared to over the summer. I mean, I was pretty busy over the summer, but mostly with work, family, and friends. Now I've added a school schedule and regular times to the gym in the mix and it's been crazy great. lol School can get pretty sucky sometimes (as far as not understanding what certain professors really want...they make the instructions for the assignments more complicated than the class itself. ugh.) But other than that, I'm loving my schedule. Mondays are pretty good. Easy enough. 3 hour lecture, go to the gym, and then go to work. Not too rushed, but enough. Tuesdays ease me into my longer days..3 classes, & the gym between the first and second. Wednesdays are pretty much just the one lab class and then the gym. Thursdays can seem a little hectic, but they don't bother me too much because even though i go to a class, go the gym, go to two more classes, then go to work, it is also my last day of the week. I have absolutely no classes on friday and i do not have work! woohooo! It is wonderful. It'll work out too because since with the whole ADHD thing, I'm approved for extra test time and test time in a quiet environment, so since in some cases my tests may need to be scheduled and friday is the perfect day to schedule a morning test time or something. =] It works out really well. I love it.

Even though I'm so ready to keep this year moving and get it over with, I do miss summer. I miss hanging out with everyone til 3 and 4am. lol Doing stupid things. I miss Sam Schleicher, who took off to Mizzou a couple weeks ago, but I was really glad he was able to come back for Dave's going away party. =[ people leaving..it's sad. But I'm definately ready for Sam to come back so we can plan some awesome movie making stuff! I'm stoked!

Fox's first game is tonight. I'm going to see my band buddies perform their first half time performance & I'm REALLY excited. =] I miss band so much. It honestly depresses me a bit to be around the band sometimes because I miss it and wish that I was still a part of it, but then I'm also really glad to be an alumni at the same time because I am so proud of what they have accomplished since I graduated, knowing that I was a part of that, and I was there for the "new beginning". (<< referring to when marching band became a class, my junior year.) I had always wanted to to marching band, but couldn't because ALL of the rehearsals were every day after school and freshman and sophomore year I was too consumed with dance still. So when it became a class junior year with Jean I was stoked. I miss Mr. Jean btw. He was a fun teacher, but Rice has really worked wonders for the band and it's so exciting to see all you band kids progress each year. Last year was a big jump, so I know you all will do even better this year and I can't wait to see it all happen. =]

Wow, I'm rambling. Waiting for Mallory to call back about going to the gym. She might have to go get her puppy some medicine because she is sicky. Poor Bailey. =[ Shes so cute! She shouldn't be sick!! Shes way too cute for it. lol

Welp, I guess I'm going to end this..I think it's long enough for not having written in awhile. lol
I'm out.
Peace!
